We have camped in +100F, with 99% humidity, and the a/c had zero problems keeping it cool and dry inside. 68F or cooler.
I don't cross into the eastern side of the Cascades, much, so the heat there certainly left something to be desired! Learning how to function our new-to-us (but thankfully very well maintained!) travel trailer in such uncomfortable conditions was a test in patience, to say the least.

I agree that the A/C is borderline unbearable. I just try to step outside once in a while and remind myself of the alternative. We love the idea of dry-camping, and would seriously consider investing in a generator for running the A/C alone. Having said that, I have found the vent in the head to be quite decent at pulling a breeze from a cracked window or two, if I'm left with 12-volts for a while.

My wife is the cook and really likes the galley in the 179. We went on the shake down cruise this week with our 9 y.o. granddaughter. We are in Southern Idaho and the weather was quite warm. Our big complaint is the AC. Too loud, and really doesn't do an adequate job. Conclusion:don't cruise when the AC is needed.
I have picked up many tips and tricks from the forum already.
