After 3 outings in our 177 we replaced our mattress with a Euro-Top mattress from Camping World.  Can purchase from other vendors for less, however when we purchased ours in June 2011 that was our only option.  A bit pricey but well worth the investment.  Your body and back are worth it, as well as a good night of sleep!  So here we are 7 years later and the mattress is just as firm and comfortable as the day we got it.  Yes, we use it a fair amount, camping around 30 days/year as well as using it at home for an overflow when we have too much company to put everyone up in the house.]]> Wed, 15 Aug 2018 20:56:46 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=12048&PID=113698#113698 New used 2014 179 : Welcome to the forum! Welcome to the forum! We topped ours with memory foam... I've heard good things about those mail-order mattresses, like Casper or Ikea. You might even have it shipped somewhere you're visiting for a while! Returns are pretty painless, from what I understand.

Hi,

We just picked up a 2014 179 and are excited to start camping.  The first thing we need to do is replace the mattress, it just isn’t comfortable.  We do not want a memory foam matress.  Any suggestions on one that is more like a bed you have at home?
