I also carry a couple of wood blocks (2" thick) and only once did I need them. Horrible site, thankfully just an overnight.

We just did a 4,000 mile run and the only issue was the sewer outlet bracket. Mine is held by a screw that fell out. I've replaced it and backed it up with heavy duty wire ties.

Others have replaced the hanger..

When parked at the house I use wood blocks. When camping I use my Anderson Leveler and those basic stackable plastic blocks (set of 10 bought off Amazon). 

Others may say one is better than another, yet for me, I didn't see much difference on the plastic blocks.
