Seems I faired better since only slight bending in the roof stays.. Can't retract fully, so I just take them apart.

Now the shock corded arch poles got a couple good bends I can't straighten out. That I may need to replace (definitely somehow repair).

One thing I will do though is add one more pole from the ground to the center of the arched front (and a strap). In those winds (or something lighter) the dome tries to fold downward. That extra pole would help immensely!

Apparently, per a dealer in Denver, Forest River wants over $100 for a new pole, and I suspect that does not include delivery costs. Does anyone by a weird chance have one they want to sell or have a replacement suggestion? Saw one post where the owner replaced a bent part with a dowel, so I might try that. Don't know if the poles have changed over the years, but we have a 2015 179 R Pod. In advance, thanks for any suggestions or advice!!
