I keep the fan setting on low, and during the day the thermostat is set at 73. At night, I like it colder. So if I set the thermostat at 71, it will cool down, and the compressor will cut on and off while the fan continues to run during the night.

If I change the thermostat by 4 degrees, from 73 to 69, instead of 71 at bedtime, then the AC will run for a little while, and then completely shut off. And it will not come back on even when the inside of the pod warms up. The only way to get it back on is to turn it off, and then start over with the fan on low and then go to the compressor setting.

As long as I lower the temp. 2 degrees, or less, the AC works fine. When I lower it from 73 to 71, and it reaches 71, the compressor cuts off, then I can lower it to 69, and it will work fine.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Benny
