We've found if we shower with just the curtain across the opening that the thermostat would go wonky. We had to cut a visit away from our 179 short because the AC shut down and our temperature monitor said that the temperature was getting out of the comfort range for our cats. I have a 2015 178, and the door is awkward, but what concerns me more is the door when fully open contacts the countertop if the slide is closed. It hasn't happened yet but if the door where to be open and the slide was in process of closing, that door would be an obstruction. Serious considering a rod and curtain. I remove the bathroom door in my 180 and put a curtain in. The door just always seems kind of awkward.
