There is also an electric switch located inside the water heater access door on the exterior of the pod. This is to turn on the electric heating element in the water heater. The switch is on the left side and looks like a minature black rocker switch and usually has a cotter pin in it to stop a mistaken turn on.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>You can use the electric element if you have a power supply and can use gas whether or not you have electric hook ups. &nbsp;Some people use both to the water hot faster.</div><div>Vann</div>]]>

So-called on demand water heaters have no tank whatsoever. The R-pod water heater has ~~ 6 gallon tank. It's small, but not really on demand.<br>]]>
