Thanks, StephenH, I am replacing the one in the galley area today. In our 179, I also noticed that air comes from under the sink. There is a vent below the door and that is open to the wall on which the sink is mounted. I looked up AAV, and while I don't see one in the shower area, I did find one behind the kitchen sink. Not sure what you mean. Is there an air admittance vent/valve (AAV) for the shower in a Pod? If so where is it?
