Unfortunately, they don't stock the same shelf by itself now but in a kit with wall brackets. It is expensive that way. However, my mounting brackets were inexpensive and could be adapted to other type shelves.

For the 12V, I bought the sockets on Amazon. For the ones at the base of the bed, I tapped into the furnace power. Since the wiring for it was more than adequate, I changed fuses in the panel, plutting a 15A fuse in place of the 5A fuse that was there. I then put an inline fuse holder for the socket with a 10A fuse in place. For the one behind the TV, I tapped into the power line for the Jensen unit. That one already had a 15A fuse in the panel so I did not add an additional fuse inline.

I run my CPAP machine with water in the humidifier tank but with the heat turned off for passive humidification. That keeps the power use down.

Edit: For the base of the bed, I got a group with two 12V power sockets and one USB socket. For the second one by the TV, I got a separate 12V socket and a USB socket. I drilled holes in the appropriate places (checking for wires and other obstructions) and then installed them. The hardest part is making sure to get the polarity (positive + and negative -) correct.

You can use anchors. Home Depot sells ones that are 1" long. You can safely use those but make sure you don't get anything longer as you will go through the side if you do (been there, done that). I originally had angle brackets that hooked behind the valence and used Command Strips to hold the supports I made in place. I noticed that they were pushing the valence down and out, so I switched to anchors before our most recent trip. I recommend them. I also recommend not loading anything too heavy on the shelf. In my case, it holds my CPAP machine, my toiletries and vitamins, some of my clothing, and a small stuffed polar bear (Yukon) who now travels with us both in memory of our Alaska cruise and in memory of my wife's father who had it during the last months of his life and named it. None of these weighs too much.
