Welcome and Congratulations on your R-Pod. We also have and enjoy the 179 very much. I have done a number of modifications and small fixes with ours. You can see them in my mods (link in signature). Some of those might help you. Hello,

The wife and I just purchased a 2014 179 from an older couple who just couldn't use it any more due to age and health reasons. They both teared up as we drove away so they must have really loved it. It is in excellent shape and only needed a quick wipe down cleaning. Looking forward to our first camping trip.

I like to fix things myself and never take anything to a dealer so I am here to glean maintenance and repair info from fellow pod owners.
