    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=217" rel="nofollow">techntrek</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1165<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 Apr 2010 at 5:33pm<br /><br /><P>I've had some bear experiences.  Once I was camped along the AT in Susquehanna and a bear came up 50 ft. from where we were sleeping and somehow got our bear bag out of the tree.  The rope wasn't chewed - he <EM>untied</EM> it.  It was just barely bright enough that I could tell something was moving around near that tree but I wasn't about to get up and find out.  When we finally all got up a half hour later we traced the trail of debris through the woods and caught up to him.  I looked up and there he was staring back at me.  I still keep a chewed up plastic bottle with my camping gear as a reminder.</P><P>So did each checkpoint give out a random card from a deck or set of decks?</P>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=410" rel="nofollow">TerryM</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 1165<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18 Apr 2010 at 1:03pm<br /><br />We had 35 Jeeps show up for the poker run.&nbsp; There would have been more but one of the Jeep clubs in the area was having a club function that day.&nbsp; There was 5 check points where you could get a card.&nbsp; One guy got 5 Jacks!!&nbsp; What are the chances of that happening!!<br><br>I was at check point #2 all day.&nbsp; It was a little nerve racking because a bear had crossed the trail about 30' from where I was setting at a card table!&nbsp; It was a LARGE bear too!&nbsp; Good thing it wasn't hungry!<img src="https://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" alt="LOL" title="LOL" /><br><br>Terry<br>]]>
