    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8159" rel="nofollow">poston</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11567<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13 May 2018 at 11:35pm<br /><br />Hi everyone!<div><br></div><div>Thanks to you all for all the years and years of knowledge you have contributed to this awesome forum.&nbsp; Plenty of interesting reading ahead!</div><div><br></div><div>We have been tent campers and decided to move to something more comfortable after I retired.&nbsp; We were looking at the R-pod 179, Lance 1475, Jayco Hummingbird 17RK, Passport ROV 170RKRV, and Minnie Drop 1790, when a 2016 180 popped up on Craigslist at a great price.&nbsp; We were the first to call, and made a deal.&nbsp; We're driving down 400 miles to pick it up on Sunday.</div><div><br></div><div>This will be our first travel trailer although I have towed before.&nbsp; Here is our tow vehicle, a 2011 Suzuki SX4 AWD:</div><div><br></div><div><img src="http://vch-nv.us/Towboat1.jpg" height="480" width="640" border="0" /><br></div><div><br></div><div>We're open to any suggestions or hints you have that will get us up to speed quicker.&nbsp; We're planning to shake down ourselves and the trailer this summer, then head out for a 2-month tour in the fall.</div><div><br></div><div>Wish us luck!</div><div><br></div><div>-- Jim</div><div><br></div>]]>
