The pause in fan operation while it switches back and forth was one reason I decided to set it on low and leave it there. That and because it is a little bit quieter when on low.]]>

For the first time the A/C (quiet little thing) appeared to drop automatically to a lower roar/speed.  We were checking it out in prep for a long trip, our first and were under cover, temp about 75 or so.
