You made me go out and measure ours. Our gray water drain is 2" OD; probably 1-1/2" ID. The black water tank is 3-1/2" OD; probably 3" ID. The cover plates are 4" on both.<br>]]>

Behind that, in front of the axle and underneath the wet bath is the black tank. Behind the axle is the gray tank. It would make no sense whatsoever to have the black tank in the back. How would the toilet flush into it?<br><br>We have the 2016 RP179.<br>]]>

My 178 is the same as Cranster says, theblack tank is foraward, gray tank is more rear, my freshwater tank is at the aft.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=7485" rel="nofollow">NAP1947</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11552<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 11 May 2018 at 5:50pm<br /><br />we got our 179 today, went through inspection and instruction session. &nbsp;The pod is clean and everything works, we have lots to learn. &nbsp;<div>One thing I identified during the inspection is the tank dumps appear to be backward, the grey water has the large full size drain pipe but the black water has a pipe that is about half the diameter. &nbsp;Have not measured yet but the grey is about 4” diameter and the black about 2”. &nbsp;That is reversed from what I experienced with our motor homes.</div><div>Anyone else have this situation? &nbsp;Is it normal? &nbsp;My dealer was not sure but agreed it seems backwards.</div>]]>
