I had a Class C that got caught in a Nor'easter in NJ that caused delamination, insurance didn't cover and I lost a ton when I let it go.  When they get soft the lamination is gone.  You have to remove the bad spot and rebuild the area.  Not sure what your capability is but could easily cost you a year of camping.]]>

The repair can be extensive.  Leaks and water intrusion are a killer to RVs, move on.  If the price is really low and you have the time to fix, I say it's a project.]]>

There have been some mentions of soft spoke on the floors. There are various repair that members have done.</div><div>If you go to the search window, you can pull up some that might address your issue/model!</div><div>We have had some had some rust spots appear on the underneath area.     <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=8181" rel="nofollow">Mimo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11350<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 Apr 2018 at 4:51pm<br /><br />Hello.<div><br><div>I've been reading the forum for a couple of days because we are looking at buying a used <b>2011 R-Pod 172.</b></div><div><br></div><div>I live next to the Atlantic Ocean, and while the trailer has been well cared for, there is salt in our very air, so it is showing some rust and flaking paint on the steel support beams.&nbsp; That is to be expected here.&nbsp; The problem I'm seeing is that there is a <b>lot of give in the floor directly in front of the sink/stove</b> area, and when you look underneath, you can see that large panel bow as someone walks across.&nbsp; There is no support beam in this large area, directly in front of the wheels.&nbsp; There are some cables/pipes running across in the area.</div><div><br></div><div><b>My question is, has anyone else experienced a problem with this?&nbsp; If so what was the solution?&nbsp; And how involved was the fix?</b></div><div><br></div></div><div>Thank you for your help.&nbsp; We are reaching retirement age, and while we tested out our compatibility before we married by packing up the motorcycle and tenting for 2 weeks at a time, we are not willing to go back to sleeping on the ground.&nbsp;<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" /> But we travel well together and love to explore.&nbsp; I think the R-Pod would be a good solution.</div><div><br></div><div>Mimo</div>]]>
