Bit over 300$ seemed reasonable at the time. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Have not checked actual mileage yet. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Computer said it went from around 11 mpg at 60+ up to over 15 mpg if I kept the speed about 52. <br></div><div><br></div><div>But I do not know how accurate that is, yet.</div><div><br></div><div>Did my first mod today. Installed a thermometer with a command strip just right of the kitchen upper cabinet. Then shuffled the dividers under the kitchen sink. Removed all 3, then took the left one and mounted it sideways behind the trap.&nbsp; Just about doubled that cabinets space available.</div><div><br></div><div>More to come.<br></div>]]>

Finding a suitable tow vehicle is a chore, we are using a Honda Ridgeline that we already own but its underpowered. Now looking at older, used Toyota 4Runner or Lexus 460.&nbsp;<div><br></div><div>For portable solar, we use a Renogy 100 watt suitcase, more than enough to meet our needs. No generator for us, as we don't need ac current typically. And I have a few mods I want to do right off the bat. <br></div><div>Shelf over the bed, possible shelf over the sofa. 12v plug in, with 2 USB plugs and a battery volt meter to find a good place to install. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Solar which I am thinking I am going to leave loose for now. But I think I need to make a good extention cable for it.</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks to all of you for all your contributions. Seems they all want some 10 to 15,000$ more for them than I am willing to spend.<br><br>I am 65, retired, jack of all trades, master of procrastination. <br>My Cindy retires April 27th.<br><br>We will probably take some short jaunts this summer but we are really looking to head South East and get out of this North Dakota Winter. <br><br>Already learning a lot here and on youtube.<br><br>Have tools and an generator incoming from Harbor Freight, and another 1k worth of goodies sitting in Amazon cart. Mostly simple stuff, but some handy things I hope.<br><br>I was a fairly early adapter to internet forums. Have been active for over 20 years on a wide variety. <br><br>Hoping to find a good community here as well. <br><br>My wife and I both love to read, fish, kayak, and explore.<br>My interests beyond those are wide and widely varying. <br><br>Currently tying panfish jigs like mad trying to get ready for some serious fishing this spring.<br><br>Lost both Mom and Dad in the last year. Miss them some but they left us fairly well off.<br>Enough that I can splurge a little and give RVing a try.<br><br><br><br><br><br><blockquote></blockquote>]]>
