Too bad about your back.  I too suffer from a bad back but surprisingly I get the best sleep in my RPOD.  It seems I need a super firm mattress and the RPOD is like sleeping on the floor. Anyway I hope you get your price.  We sold our almost new 180 with over $1000 in extras for only $14,000.  We got lots of offers (using RV trader but not a single nibble from this forum) and probably should have priced it higher.  But we got alot more than a dealer would have given in a trade so we are happy as is the buyer - win win as they say.  Also we bought both the RPOD and our new trailer at practically wholesale prices so we have not really lost too much.  Our mistake for not trying out the RPOD before buying.  It was just too small for us, especially climbing over each other on the bed with bad backs.  Hope you sell it quickly and the surgery was a success.

Thank you. It was actually my goal to make camping easier by setting the rpod up with nice back friendly mods. This last surgery just fused me from T-10 down to S1. I'm done now. Unfortunately. :(   

Been to Rochester many times when my daughter went to school there. Right now the North East is still cold , gray, and depressing.

I'm sorry to hear about your back issues. I had L4-L5 fusion in 2013. I just completed a dinette modification so that if it reaches the point that I can no longer crawl over my wife, we won't have to give up our R-Pod. That is, unless we decide to go for one a little bigger with a walk-around bed.

I am originally from west of Rochester, so I am familiar with the area in which you live.

Getting prepared to sell our POD and wanted to put it here first before I list it elsewhere. After too many back surgeries, camping is no longer possible for me. I purchased the 180 in August of 2016 new. The POD has been used for three camping trips and is in new condition. The only modification I did was to put a shelf over the bed. I'm looking to sell it for what I owe on it in order to break even. Right now it's $14,500. But I'm still paying each month, so the price is going down.


I am located in Upstate NY in the Saratoga area.
