For instance/example, you may choose to post a wiki/FAQ about "How to post a picture". You do it and take ownership of that individual subject. If someone thinks you have made an error or omission, they can PM you and discuss it. Another member may want to post "How & when to PM another member" and so on.

Speaking of Techntrek, I like to say this every now and then and have not done so in a while. He is one of the "founding fathers" of the forum and has put a lot of himself into the forum over the years. There are many here (you know who you are) who have done the same - given countless hours of themselves helping others and giving good fellowship. We all owe a big "THANK YOU" to all who have done this. We all enjoy the fruits of these efforts and the forum will continue to grow because of it.

In another situation, a member was in need of help but, posted the request for help at the end of another thread, of a different subject. Fortunately, a good Samaritan (mcarter) saw it and suggested/advised the person to start a new thread.

On the other hand, I ask myself if “the juice is worth the squeeze”. Would enough people actually read/use it to make it worth OUR effort? (Notice the plural)

If enough think we (plural) should do this, I would confer with the other Admins. If they like it too, then I would be willing to set it up. However, I think members should provide the knowledge base. I have enough to do already and you folks are smarter than me.

I envision something above the "introduce yourself" that says something like "before getting started, read this first".
