The point, I think, of trying not to get into discussions about or promote religions is to avoid people getting into pi**ing matches with each other.  We're here to talk about r-Pods, not deities.  When you asked, for example, about your electric system, I didn't suggest you join my religion, I tried to give you a technical answer about some basic electricity stuff that related to the r-Pod.  

So, please dear sir, leave me out of the religious conversation on the board.  If you'd like to engage me in discussions about religion, politics [please not I didn't say what mine are], guns, food, music, or any other topics that could lead to conflict on the board, please feel free to PM me, though you are not invited to share my responses with others with out my written consent.  

And as for the name "lostagain," it's a name relating to traveling around N. and S. America and some times feeling a little "dazed and confused" [a hippie term from the 60's].  It has nothing to do with any theological views.  

 Thanks for handling the situation in a fair and well considered manner.  This forum is for people of any and all faiths, beliefs, and points of view.  The only way that is going to be preserved is to keep out of religion, politics, and guns.

My take on this subject is, yawn, stretch, that 22 "yes" votes do not constitute a quorum or indicate need for change,  unless there are a lot less members here than I think there are.  The lack of interest on even voting is glaring, but it's always interesting to read the comments no matter the issue.  

I'll bet a lot of the main posters read "Mad Magazine" like I did when younger.  I see much of the same sort of good fun humor.

Remove a quote in the signature that comes from a book. Religious or not.. Really? And it's not really even a Quote but a reference..

Prizing clarity in writing, I am chagrined to find that I have failed to communicate successfully.

What I meant to say is, I think all of us should feel free to put anything into the signature line that is descriptive of us as individuals, including personally preferred car brands, dog breeds or shoes. 

Prosyletizing anything, whether religions, guns, dog breeds, or cars, should be 'out', where to prosyletize is defined as - "to advocate or promote a belief or course of action to others."
