I just cant justify that much extra. I have done so much research on light camper trailers, been to 3 camping shows already this year (The wife says I have a problem, haha). I have looked at the Winnebago mini drop, Jayco hummingbird and obviously the R-pod. The quality of interior and the craftsmanship of the entire R-pod is why |I chose it. there is a big difference with the trim, cabinets, counter top and edging. I bought the R-pob because of quality.

Yet my Dealership offered me a 5yr "Bumper to bumper" I did not pass up. The details/fine print was better than factory warranties. And no, it doesn't have be done by them. Yes, it does have to be done by a 'authorized' Forest River/appliance Dealer.

I say it all depends on cost. There may be extended warranty offers for the heater and air conditioner and refrigerator from the manufacturer We got the one for the heater but felt the refrigerator and a/c were too expensive. Good luck and have fun in the RPOD
