This sounds great!!!  OMG, sausage gravy and tator tots!
 
It reminds me of potato pancakes with sausage gravy....when I used to like in California, there was a place in the Santa Cruz mountains that served them...they were soooooo great!  (of course, I am down 75lbs since those days....I'm not sure I could do more then a bite now...so rich)

Ok my wife said I should cut back on the Sausage Gravy at Breakfast.  Guess I will offer to cook dinner on night and serve this.  LOLLOL

Sausage Gravy Casserole


  • 1 (8 ounce) can crescent rolls
  • 16 ounces frozen tater tots
  • 1 (12 ounce) package sausage links or ground sausage
  • 1 (8 ounce) can sausage gravy (or use homemade)

Directions

  1. Cook sausage and drain.
  2. If using links cut them up into bite size pieces.
  3. Spread crescent rolls into bottom of a greased 9 x 13 casserole.
  4. Put tater tots evenly on the top of the crescent rolls.
  5. Sprinkle sausage over top of tater tots.
  6. Pour sausage gravy over the top.
  7. Bake at 375 for 20 - 30 minutes.
  8. They used convection oven and baked for about 20 minutes so a regular oven might take longer than the 30 minutes.
