We got the 10 inch and it is hard to maneuver around and heavy to lift when I need to get under the bed to access the valves and storage (modified areas). An 8 inch would have been easier to work with.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11115<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 Feb 2018 at 4:49pm<br /><br />Good to know.&nbsp; That being said, IF they replace that POJ mattress with a similar one, are you any further ahead in your own creature comfort?&nbsp; This has been an issue even when we purchased our 177 back in January 2011.&nbsp; After 3 trips (all weekend ones) we found ourselves rolling towards a big depression in the middle of the mattress.&nbsp; We are not big people but the mattress was that bad.&nbsp; Solution, Eurotop mattress, a bit pricey back then (summer 2011) around 350 bucks which included shipping yet here we are 6 plus years later and that mattress is just as firm and comfortable now as it was then and yes it gets used a lot IMHO.&nbsp; We average 30 days/year camping.&nbsp; Still working so that is our limit at this point in our lives.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=6506" rel="nofollow">Wepod</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11115<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03 Feb 2018 at 7:52am<br /><br />When we took our 17'&nbsp; 179 in for service after owning it for one year we complained to the dealer about the mattress.&nbsp; They submitted the complaint to Forrest River and they are replacing the mattress for a new one free of charge.&nbsp; &nbsp;Likely it will be a similar mattress to the original one, but it is good to know that FR knows they have a problem with the some of the stuff they put in these campers and are willing to stand behind there product.&nbsp;]]>
