    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=5232" rel="nofollow">Richand Cindy</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 11106<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 31 Jan 2018 at 7:53pm<br /><br />Technically there is no such thing as a 2017 or 2018 as there are with cars.&nbsp; So some people have a 2017 that is green and some have the blue ones.&nbsp; Forest River does not label their invoice with a year.&nbsp; It is the dealers that use the year convention.&nbsp; However since changes can even be made mid year that is why you will see 2017, 2017.5 and 2018.&nbsp; What color is the 2017? If it is the blue/grey combination it is a later 2017.&nbsp; If Green it is an earlier 2017.&nbsp; If it is blue/blue it was made in June 2016 (they only did this once). There really are very minor differences.&nbsp; They changed the brand of vent fan and stereo as examples.&nbsp; So if you can save thousands on a 2017 go for it, there certainly is not thousands of dollars of difference, more like $50.&nbsp;]]>

I found a new 2017 that seems to be the same as the 2018 model. I would save a couple thousand buckaroos, and wondered if there was any real difference between the 2017 and 2018?</div><div><br></div><div>We are new to the forum and recently sold our Aliner. We loved our Aliner, but hated the set up in rainy or windy conditions.
