I really like the looks of the 189 & 190!, I have not seen them in person yet... I have a 180, I did a very simple Mod to turn Dinette into a Couch. It works Great!

We finally got to see the 189/190 at the Tampa RV show.  Good thing it was not available when we bought our 180. We wanted a dry bath so the 180 was the best option.  Had the 189/190 been available when we bought it would have been a tough choice to decide.  The 180 has the disadvantage of making the inside look smaller as the rear bath totally closes off the rear and there is no area to sit to watch TV.  We find ourselves in the bed alot as it is hard to watch TV from the dinette.  The 189/190 gives that long open feeling (like the 179) but cuts off the sides of making it seem you are locked in a closet when lying in the bed.  Don't know which we would have picked but its nice there are many options for different folks.  I am sure you will have a blast with your POD.  They are alot of fun for a small package

Not too far from us then. We are in Wake Forest. We are planning on attending the 10th anniversary R-Pod Rally in Kentucky in October. Otherwise, we will likely be headed through that way this coming spring on our way to visit our daughters and grandchildren.

If you decide to head east, Falls Lake has some nice campgrounds that are not too far from us. We have stayed at Holly Point. My brother and his wife stayed at Rolling View. Both are pretty nice. Rolling View is year-round with heated restrooms.
