There was damage to the two roof vent covers and a broken window but no damage to the roof itself - this was a bad hail storm, hail as big as baseballs that lasted for half an hour. If he'd had roof vent covers it might have helped but then they would have probably been broken, too.

The r pod didn’t have a dent, but our neighbors brand new car was a total wreck. We have never seen hail like that, and I hope we never do again.😬

Our Escape was pockmarked with hail damage that was repaired by paintless dent repair. The R-Pod which sat right behind it in our driveway was unscathed. We don't have that Escape anymore. We now have a Nissan Frontier. I will protect it the best I can if hail is in the forecast. I'm not so worried about the 'Pod.

These campers are all inside a 1/2 mile circle. None suffered "roof damage". I had one vent cover that is beat up pretty bad, lots of dots. But only one, the FF cover is fine, as are both sky lights. Sister only has a FF, no damage, and neighbor had a vent cover broken, NOT his FF cover. His was the only one with a trailer cover on.. LOL

I suspect they all are pretty much OK up to a real serious event..
I am thinking maybe a fiberglass roof I would think a fiberglass roof would crack a TPO roof would flex more and not be damaged as easily. We have been thinking about a new camper do not know if we should stay with a fiberglass roof or would be happy with a TPO roof which is a type of roof we have never had.
