The thermostat had been operating on Fahrenheit before I used the cord adapter, I just wasn't sure how it got changed to Celsius. Probably an easy mistake to make when pushing those buttons. The electric seemed to work fine, but I could not set the thermostat on my heater above 32 degrees. The temperature was actually quite comfortable with the thermostat at 20 degrees. Although I had removed the batteries for winter storage, I don't understand why I could not set the thermostat above 32 degrees?]]>
