Welcome to the group, lots of very helpful folks here, I have visited every R-Pod and small trailer forum I can find and I think this is the best there is, look at the number of people here who own competitive models or moved on to larger trailers and have remained active.
We will be heading to Inglis in 6 weeks but not with the 179, we will pick it up until April so we are learning a lot from here as we wait and plan.
Leo, here in Ottawa it is about the same temperature but the wind has been howling the past few days making wind chill close to -35 (same in F and C).  Do appreciate you not blaming us Canadians for the cold weather, even though it does seem to originate here.

No, the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. About 30 miles south of the Canadian border.

It is a sunny minus 10 degrees here today at 11:30 am, high today will be minus 7 degrees! Then down to -20 tonight...................luckily the wind isn't blowing!!

Howdy from sunny South Florida!  My wife and I just bought a 2017 179 (the green model).  We got a great package with all accessories and tools (the ad said just bring your toothbrush) and are thrilled although we have yet to hit the road.  Currently, it is sitting under a shade tree in our Jupiter yard which is a beautiful, 1.5 acre campsite.  We are having a hitch installed tomorrow and tracking down the lost title so we can get the tag registered.  We are reading a lot about the ins & outs of these trailers and RV-ing in general and learning a lot along the way.  Looking forward to reading the forum.  Are there any other great forums we should be following?

BTW- We have a great location if you R Podders are in S. Florida this winter and would like to park for a night or two.  I checked with the RV campground down the street and you can pump out for $20.  So if you don't want to worry about things freezing, it's supposed to be near 80 here today, 12/28.   We would love to meet some of you.  We have been doing AirBnB for years and enjoy the company so look us up.  If you want to email me: richardlsites@gmail.com.
