Thanks for that info, Michigan is definitely on the list! Same situation for California, a 6-month window and they do fill up. Of course booking in advance also means more opportunity for cancellations as the dates are closer. So if you try to book a location and can't get in, keep checking. Just a reminder, if you want to snag any of the really great Michigan State Park camping sites this summer, you need to begin planning now. For example, Ludington SP on Lake Michigan is regularly rate #1, and you'll miss out if you wait to book. 6-Month window on booking means mid-June reservations now.
