+1 on overhanging tree branches. We had the TV antenna ripped off by a mesquite tree in Arizona. It happened in a friend's driveway. I won't make that mistake again. Yeah, Google satellite images do seem helpful, but nothing beats a scouting trip. I have logged many miles on forest service roads in the Sierras and the deserts in Anza Borrego with the pod, I drive slow and watch for bumps. The further out you go the better I always say. I use google satellite maps with which I make sure I have turn arounds  Or I drop the pod and scout ahead. And the BLM land out there means free camping and less people!
