It works like a charm.  My grandson is a whirligig and it at least keeps the cushions where they belong...him and his bedding is a different story.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="https://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley36.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> <br /><br />I got mine from Lowe's but suspect it would be at any home DIY store.  :)  ]]>

I just finished my mod to accomplish this.On ours, the seat is 4" thick so the replacement cushions I made are also 4" thick and&nbsp; I use a 1" support under the 3/4" plywood platform I made to make the plywood level with the slide-out base.<br>]]>

Have a 4" foam back made &amp; covered that is 75" long and ~ 15-16" high.&nbsp; Cut a 3/4" plywood that is same measurement as the back and you can lay it on the two "foot stool" things without the cushions.&nbsp; the seat of the couch is 3" and the back cushion is 4" so that difference makes the whole thing level.&nbsp; We put a twin mattress protector, a twin fitted sheet around the two cushions and it works like a charm.&nbsp; In the morning, remove bed linens, slide the board under the seat cushion and it's a couch again.]]>

It easily stowed away in the ottoman. We now have an IKEA futon (jackknife sofa), which solved the bed problem and the uncomfortable back cushion problem.]]>

Nice idea except then you have this sleeping bag and foam to store someplace? <br>]]>
