The trim on our slide was catching the cover for the ottoman storage when it would slip out of place, so we throw the cover on the bed before pulling the slide in. I know that every dealer is different, but we got quite an extensive walk-around and systems tour when we picked up our R-179. No switch was left unflipped, no valve was left unturned. There was (is) a lot to absorb. This included hitching/unhitching. We also have the 179 and love it! I would have the tech turn on and demonstrate everything in the camper from the radio to the a/c, furnace etc....... A quick search of the forum should give you lots of information as to what to look for. We have a 179 and have enjoyed it greatly. We thought we would get more use out of the larger kitchen and storage than out of the larger bath. It has worked out well for us so far.

Hi, We have not purchased yet but have narrowed it to the RP-179 or the RP-179Wink We will be purchasing new. What should we be looking at during the delivery inspection? Are there any special concerns with this model?
