It's what we used. <br><br>The switch will have a jumper going to the pole of choice on the battery, we used +, to one pole of the switch. Then on the other side of the switch will be the wire from the Pod that is currently going to the + post. <br><br>On our pod, the second wire went/goes to the power tongue jack. <br><br>Our pod was from before "solar ready" so we just attached our solar panels to the battery posts when needed. <br><br>Then when the stuff gets even better.. dual Trojan T 105's for serious boondocking.. <img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley4.gif" border="0" alt="Big smile" title="Big smile" /><br><br><a href="https://postimg.org/image/ybcrqg7vh/" target="_blank"><img src="https://s6.postimg.org/9uulvz74x/20150720_202840_zpsesl0xym7.jpg" border="0" /></a><br><br><a href="https://postimg.org/image/k3n31sv6l/" target="_blank"><img src="https://s6.postimg.org/tbfbii28x/20150723_124139_zpssnsxda3i.jpg" border="0" /></a><br>]]>

Obviously 1 to the POD to supply power, but what is the other wire?<br><br>Thanks<br>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=7497" rel="nofollow">stevo220</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10638<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07 Sep 2017 at 6:18pm<br /><br />Hi,<br>Just purchased a 2015 R-pod 178 and was going to install a battery disconnect switch.<br>I have just the one battery.&nbsp; When opening the battery box, I see 2 cables going to the positive terminal (1 larger gauge cable and one smaller gauge).&nbsp; There are also 2 cables going to the negative terminal (again 1 larger gauge wire and 1 smaller gauge wire). &nbsp; <br><br>Anybody know what the smaller gauge wires go to?&nbsp; I don't have a motorized lift jack....<br><br>Should I switch both wires? (still not sure if I will put the switch on the negative side or positive side, everybody has different opinions on that...)<br><br>Thanks for the input....<br><br>Steve<br><br>]]>
