This is hardly a universal problem with pods.  A few have had trouble, but mfar from all.  If you are getting a new one it should be easy to have the dealer check the mount and repair as required.  If they are not willing get another dealer.

I gave up on photos for this forum. A physical inspection will be self explanatory. Look at the one rail on each tank that is not welded to the frame rails. I think standard they were 1"X14s. I replaced the screws I left with 11/4", DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. I added 1 bolt to every bracket, which also pulled them flush against the rails. They secured the tank rails with sheet metal screws??? If I buy the 180 I will replace with stainless bolts and fiber lock nut. Thinking about the 180 as my first time purchase. Just me and once in a while one other person. I see on the forums there has been problems with the water tank coming loose or breaking when being hauled down the road full. Most of my camping is done in forestry camp grounds, blm land, out in the desert etc. where I am often long way from water. Can not imagine they would build something where you could not fill the tank and go. Is this a valid concern? Hate to by it and then have to add to tank supports.
