I thought there is a video on YouTube that showed you how to disconnect the motor so you could slide it out if you had too. But the mobile RV repair man is a wonderful thing!! Have used them a few times!

We spent the night in a VERY COZY RPod and then got the control box fixed by a wonderful RV repair place in Prineville Oregon. The YouTube videos are good to tell you what to do when the slide out doesn't want to come in.

    Author: StephenH
Subject: 10470
Posted: 06 Aug 2017 at 7:14pm

Is this an actual problem or something about which you are concerned may happen? Check out YouTube videos for what to do in the case it happens. We have had ours for 1-1/2 years and have moved the slide-out out and in many times. It has given us no problems, even with it going through some harsh weather and being in an accident (which got it a trip to the factory for repair). The slide-out seems to be very reliable, so relax and enjoy it. Just be sure to move it out and in all the way and don't stop in the middle if you can avoid it. That helps the two motors to stay in sync. There are videos for what to do if they should get out of sync, but if you always put if all the way out (hold the button for 3-5 seconds after movement stops), then the motors should stay in sync.
