It sounds like you had a really nice trip. You got me thinking about returning to the Rocky Mts. NP. I looked online and couldn't put much of a stay together (this year) at the Aspenglen campground, that I camped at before. Maybe next year.....

Other than camping at my Brothers yard which was great also the rest of the nights were in RV Parks that were unremarkable. Two that stand out are the KOA at Devils Tower (come out of the camper and see the tower in the morning!!) and in Sydney, Nebraska Cabela's RV park next to their flagship store.

We used all the systems on our Pod, Air, furnace, pump, fridge on electric and propane, lights, head, shower, sink. They all worked well. We had all kinds of weather (except snow) while towing and even without WDH or sway bars it pulled beautifully. We did sit on the edge of the Great Salt Lake in Utah for a couple of hours stopped by the police due to high winds. When we did get going we passed 5 semi trucks blown over by the cross winds, so we were grateful they were stopping campers. The driver of the class C in front of us had a tantrum the whole time we waited and let the cops know what he thought of them. I thanked the Utah State Police for thinking of our safety.

We saw R Pods every day while on the road, and several in campgrounds but never met any other owners. There are getting to be more and more all the time.

So we have spent a month in our pod since I retired in Mid April. We have more camping planned for the rest of the season this year and will get our money's worth now.
