If you bypass sensor fan will come on, sensor is bad if it does not close with heat.]]>

Now I just need to figure out where to move it.  Ordered an IR thermometer to see if it's any hotter just to the right of the fins. So you move that switch about an inch to the right?  Just past the end of the coils at the highest point?<br />The Fridge has a single fan now which is fine, but we never have never heard it turn on. I noticed the fridge has a thermistor IN the fridge on the coils/fins, but it is screwed down, not adjustable like on some Dometic fridges I have seen on YouTube.<br /><br />Best,]]>

E onto something Jato, I just realized I have NEVER heard the fans com on with our fridge.  Now I have to figure out where the temp sensor is.  There is on inside the fridge that is attached to the fins, but I did see some actual coils in there so I will look for a sensor attached.  Also saw some red wires going to some fins at the very top.<br />You remember what the sensor looks like?  May find one on line.<br /><br />Thanks!]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10165<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 Jul 2017 at 8:26pm<br /><br />We had a similar problem until we moved the temp sensor up to the top of the coils.&nbsp; By doing this both pancake fans would come on quite frequently.&nbsp; Something I never heard the first 2 years I owned our 177.&nbsp; On hot days it is not uncommon for the pancake fans to come on every 5 minutes or so for about 30 seconds.&nbsp; The result, cold fridge and colder freezer.<br>]]>

Do you mean the external digital temperature sensor that I added, or is there an internal thermistor I should look for.  Fridge is on max cool and freezer temp has been between 9-26 mostly but we did have melted ice pops recently.  Fridge got up to 41 on our last trip in the high 70's.  I suppose overfilled could be subjective.  Our first trip we did pack it as full as we could, after that we realized that may be an issue.  Maybe I should Youtube how to pack an rv fridge.  <br /><br />Thanks for The great thoughts Furpod.]]>
