I read an article in our local newspaper, the Hendricks County Flyer, yesterday. It discussed a general shortage of skilled labor, here in the State. In particular, it quoted the Elkhart County Economic Development Corporation as saying that county's unemployment rate had dropped below 2%! In April, it is reported that there were 20,000 unfilled jobs in that county. Manufacturing seems to be suffering the most.

If you are wondering why I mention this, the Elkhart area is the RV manufacturing center of the known universe. It would be interesting to see what kind of backlog they have. Last I heard, they do the same up North - alternating between making Pods and Surveyors.

On your comment about the number of R-pods built, we just returned from a trip to Washington. It's obvious that R-pods are manufactured in that area. They were everywhere - 2 or 3 at every campground we stayed in and many on the roads. When we purchased ours in 2012, we were lucky to see 2 all season. Now we see them all the time even in our area. It's exciting to see how the numbers have grown over the years. It truly is an awesome little camper. We are actually considering trading our 2017 R-pod 179 for a Surveyor 201RBS.
