    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=7160" rel="nofollow">Mr. Scott</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10130<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 08 Jun 2017 at 7:46pm<br /><br />Hello, r-Poders!&nbsp; My wife and I are new owners of a 2014 178, and we're pretty excited about taking it out.&nbsp; We've been cleaning it up, fixing loose bits, etc.&nbsp; These trailers always seem to need something.&nbsp; Anyway, I'm Scott, and I'll be poking around here looking for tips and ideas for our rig.&nbsp; <br><br>First off,&nbsp; I don't know how it happened, but the front edges of the rock protection plate have separated from the frame--the curved strips on the very front outside edges that meet the bottom edge.&nbsp; You can see a definite gap, and the screws have stripped clean out--well, a few anyway, and the bottom strip has dropped a little as well.&nbsp; I can post a pic later, but does anyone have suggestions on the best way to repair?&nbsp; I'm pretty bummed&nbsp; as we haven't even camped in it one night!&nbsp; It seems like the plate and whatever it's attached to are under some tension, so that's a concern.&nbsp; Right now, I can only imagine bigger, longer, fatter screws and then some sealant when I'm done.&nbsp; Has anyone dealt with this problem?<br><br>Thanks!
