We camped at Anastasia in April and were happy to see that the recovery, not only at the park, but also the surrounding area was well underway and in most cases complete.  Some reconstruction efforts were still visible at the beach end of the lettered and numbered streets going south on Beach A1A.  Once you get south of Crescent Beach, however, there are still lots of properties in distress, especially south of Marine Land.  Hopefully they have been successful in their recovery efforts in the last couple of months.

Have a good time at Anastasia-  our favorite Florida State Park by far...

We are going to Anastasia Island in a few days.
This is our first visit since the hurricane.
We hope there was not too much damage.
