You can also open the cover outside and use the lever on the pressure relief valve to vent any air and make sure it is full. If you do this, it should be before you turn the heat source on so you don't scald yourself.<br><br>We all were new at this once. You will learn as you go. If on 110 the CBs you need are the one in the converter and the one inside the water heater compartment.  Just make sure you have water in the heater.  If the fresh water tank is full, use the water pump, otherwise put city water on.]]>

They allow you to isolate and drain the WH independently, so it only takes 3 quarts or so to winterize, instead of 7 gallons.<br>]]>
