    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1146" rel="nofollow">jato</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10064<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 29 May 2017 at 7:14pm<br /><br />We replaced our smoke detector after 3 years, I think they were rather cheap.&nbsp; Replaced the battery and made no difference; continued to chirp.&nbsp; So we did the obvious, kept the batteries and threw the thing out.&nbsp; Went to Menards, spent 10 bucks for a new one and here we are 3 years later and having no problems with that one, except when my wife gives it a workout when she does some great cooking inside; just to make sure the smoke alarm still works<img src="http://www.rpod-owners.com/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" alt="Smile" title="Smile" />]]>
