We do the same thing. It'll make for fun reading in the future.
 
We did this for decades on our boat as well. It's full of info on water levels, sketches of various anchorages, condensed versions of significant events, where we found the best blueberries, how many loons we saw, etc. All that important stuff.

Just a tip that I have found very useful.  Before we picked up our pod last July, we purchased a Journal.  Starting with pick-up and our trip home, every outing has been listed  . . . even trips for maintenance.  It's easy to forget where you've been and even repairs made.   I note the campsite number that we were on plus anything of interest that happened during each trip.  When it comes time to sell, you can detail approximate mileage on the tires and overall useage.  The entry doesn't have to be very long, even a paragraph will do.  ]]> Wed, 30 Dec 2009 11:45:49 +0000 https://www.rpod-owners.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1004&PID=8811#8811
