    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.rpod-owners.com/member_profile.asp?PF=6036" rel="nofollow">lostagain</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 10008<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 23 May 2017 at 6:49pm<br /><br />I checked our AC and it's the old fashioned kind from way way back in 2009, when there were two dials on the ac unit in the ceiling. &nbsp;One for the temp and one to control the fan w/ and w/o AC. &nbsp;Kind of like the budget hotel ac/heating systems. &nbsp;What's curious is that it also has a setting for heat. &nbsp;I haven't tried it in that setting but presumably it functions as a heat pump and blows cold out and warm in with that setting or FR is messing with my mind.<div><br></div><div>In reading all the issues people have had with new Pods, I'm kinda glad I bought an old one with all the bugs already worked out so all I the to do is maintain it and dream up new mods to do.&nbsp;</div>]]>

You would need to set the fan to high or low, then set the thermostat to AC but set the temperature to a point above where the compressor will cycle. For example, if the temperature is 70 degrees, set the speed to high or low, and set the temperature for 75 degrees. The fan should run, even though the compressor does not cycle. You could also set the heater on with the fan set to high or low but set the temperature below your current temperature so that the furnace does not fire.<br><br>Setting the switch to Auto just means that the fan will not run constantly. I'm going from memory since our R-Pod is being repaired and is not here for me to double-check.<br>]]>

It does say "Au". While I appreciate your reply lostagainagain, the only controls on my ceiling AC are vent controls. I wish somebody would tell me how to work the FAN setting. It should do something, but maybe not since I have the FantasticFan.]]>
