Went camping this past weekend at Koreshan Historic Site in Estero Fl. located along the Estero River. Weather was great. Campsites are seperated from each other by native vegetation.
Area was settled in 1894 by Cyrus Teed and his followers. Many of the original building have been restored. And who says it doesn"t snow in Florida.
 Enclosed pics.

Thakyou Grandpod for the beautiful pictures , Koreshean is a beautiful park to visit we love the clean restrooms and showers. The entire park is very well maintained. And the history, love history. And if you are in need of grocery items you are minutes from a Publix market.      David

We saw this campground this past weekend while spending a week in Fort Myers. Second trip to Florida this year- and this time it was warmer in NY than in SWF! Still had a great time on spring break, though. The campground was indeed very nicely maintained. We took a trip to Immokalee for the "Airboats and Alligators" 1 hour tour and saw tons of gators- then left some money at the nearby casino. So I guess the gator didn't get us, but the blackjack table did! This was actual picture taken from the boat.
