Has anyone ever had a Camco external water filter blow up?! I have a water regulator and thought it was attached so the arrow faces the Pod. Any thoughts what I should have done differently?

I have seen a couple split, in fact saw one just a couple weeks ago. CG had 95psi water connection. Was the pressure regulator the first thing in line from the spigot? If so, either a bad regulator or a bad filter.
