Well our 2nd trip out started bad. Trailer brakes braking on their own. Emergency braking control screwed up. Pin popped out and would not stay in. Call services went through a couple of checks and nothing worked. Service tech said to disconnect the battery. That would stop the controller. Brakes would work off the vehicle alternator. It did. Question. Is it a problemrunning off the alternator? It won't hurt your truck or alternator.. But it's a bad situation, those brakes, working off the Pod battery are supposed to stop it in case it comes loose.. That disconnect is replaceable, let the dealer replace it as soon as possible, it IS a warranty item.You might double check, now that you got to your destination, about getting it back in.. they are pretty "tight" ------------- |
