Has anyone tried to put an LED strip on the Thule awning? I looked a couple of them up on Amazon. Looks like about 50 dollars for a 16 foot D.C. powered strip. I'm not sure how long the awning is though. Looks like you would have to wire them through your outside light. Do you think this is involved or easy to do? The reviews act like it's relatively easy. Just wondering if anyone has tried. ------------- 2017 R-pod 179 |

CJ-Rainrider, I actually Drilled a hole in the pod just under the rail near the back edge, (Grommet and silicone), and ran the wire down inside the closet/bathroom wall (180 only) down into the storage compartment in the rear. And put the switch just inside the door. The lights come with a remote and are dimmable. I got them on Ebay, search/ led 5050 lightstrip.
