Hello!
Hubby (VenturaTom) and I are the proud owners of a 177 as of Nov. 11.  We've only taken it out one time so far, and discovered a few problems.
Got it back from service last week with a new propane regulator and a valve in the toilet (at least it only leaked CLEAN water!).
We'll be going for a weekend in Jan., so will be able to give it a proper test then.

Even tho we had issues that first trip out, we're very happy to be new Pod people, and look forward to many adventures.

Diane

Welcome VenturaDi!  You will find that once everything is worked out it is a great camper!  Hoping to be able to dig mine out from the snow bank and go camping between Christmas and New Years.

Cool to hear, I know you have been looking forward to the delivery for a while.  The regulator sounds like a common problem - ours still "pings" under heavy load and I may replace it this spring.

Big smile I'm a happy owner of a 177 now, too!  Picked it up from Dave's RV in Claremore, OK on the 23rd.  Can't wait to try it out.  If the weather cooperates,  I'll be bringing in the new year in it for my first outing!

Smile We bought our 177 in November also and just got back from spending 3 weeks in Florida.  Only problem we can see is lack of storage, but have a few ideas.  I think they put the tv in the wrong spot and there is no reason for the sink in the "bathroom".  Other than that, we're quite happy.

Congratulations to all the new Pod owners.  I just got my 177 in Dec. and have not had it out yet, just been trying to get familiar with it and doing some check out!

Wait. You have a sink in the privy?

Guess I better go look at those new floorplans. I'm way behind, apparently.

Looking at the floorplans, most (all?) of them now have a small sink in the bathroom.  I don't see the need for it with a much more usable sink just 2 steps away, and since the bathroom already has limited space.

I agree with you, mine is a 2011, although I have seen literature showing some with the sink, heck, bathing area is small enough!!!!!!!!!!!!

We use the sink as a catch all and toilet paper holder. We also bought a small safe electric heater on the road. We were worried about propane running out, using the furnace alot. The heater works great. I haven't refilled the propane tank yet, to get an idea of how much we used, for future trips. 2peasinapod

Richard & I are the excited new owners of a 177. Our maiden camp-out was last weekend at the Yeehaw Bluegrass Festival, which was in a cow pasture. The Pod is fantastic and we look forward to camping in more aesthetically pleasing areas LOL

Oh man. How could you NOT have fun at something called the "Yeehaw Bluegrass Festival?"

If nothing else, you could later tell stories that started with, "Once, when I was in Yeehaw Junction ..."

When I first heard about the later 2011 models having a sink, I had basin-envy.  But after showering in ours, I have to agree; it's crowded enough!!
