While I am sure nobody here on the Forum needs to be reminded, it's still good reading.

#5 seems to get violated a lot and is one of my peeves.

+1 to David, I have solar powered security lights on both side of Pod. When I use them, it is amazing how often they light by folks passing thru my space close the Pod. I have a lot of stuff unloaded, grill, fishing poles , ETC. Stuff. Crazy I have to see what another camper is doing in my small space at midnight.

I'd like to add 2 more.

If you are running a generator most of the time, you're not camping.

High intensity LED head lamps are not for sitting around the campfire, those lights are bright, and your bobbing heads cause a very annoying strobe light like light show.

There, now I'm in trouble with some folks.

Yeah, like the folks who camp with a light show, like the various colors all night, that don't just shine in their space. They are not outside, just acting like a rock star, but the light travels to your space. Generators are a no brainer. When it's time for quiet, go to bed and shut you stuff off.

David great list! I am happy to say that 99% of the camper we have been camping near are great! The other 1 % usually find that there can be consequences for bad behavior Wink

Several years ago we were camped at Furnace creek in Death Valley NP. Just after sunset, one could hear a crescendo drum roll, Then a trumpet solo for about 5 or 10 minutes, then taps.  Every night. Checked around - the trumpeter was the lead trumpet player for the Sacramento orchestra.  that was one noise after dark that no one seemed to mind.
