I have a leak in both hoses that connect to the outdoor shower (brand new 2017 178 R-pod). There doesn’t seem to be a leak at the other end of the hose where they connect to the sink. I have hand-tightened as much as possible. I don’t want to break the plastic connectors. I did get a new hose at Home Depot but the problem persists.
However, when the water is turned on, pressure in the lines builds up and the leaks start. Am I missing something in the installation process? Will plumber’s tape help fix the problem?
We are scheduled to have Camping World look at it on 5/3 the earliest we could get in. We have a trip planned leaving 5/5. So we are trying to fix the problem on our own.

Unscrew it, look in and make sure the rubber washer is in the hose connection. Or make sure it's not damaged. The new hose should have included new rubber washers. Look closely at the male connection at the faucet to make sure it's not damaged.

If your 178 is like my 179, then the lines connecting to the outside shower were just brought up and bent to attach to the shower. I saw that mine were leaking and one of them was somewhat kinked. I did not like that, so I bought two elbows. I used some Teflon tape and attached the elbows to the shower connections. Then I attached the supply lines to the elbows. Now they run straight up to the connection with no bend. You may wish to do something similar depending on the setup in your 178.

Didn't pay attention and realize you were talking about the supply lines...thought you were talking about the faucet-to-showerhead line...my bad. I would have suggested the Teflon tape or liquid Teflon to fix.
